Celebrating Unity: JKNDP President Asif Nabi Dar Extends Heartfelt Navratri Greetings

Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir — As the auspicious festival of Navratri begins, Asif Nabi Dar, President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Democratic Party (JKNDP), has extended his warmest greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, and the nation at large.

In a statement released today, Mr. Dar emphasized that Navratri is not just a period of prayer and fasting, but a profound symbol of the victory of light over darkness and the celebration of Shakti (divine energy).

President Asif Nabi Dar highlighted the unique cultural fabric of the region, where festivals have historically served as bridges between communities.

“Navratri is a time for spiritual renewal and reflection. In our beautiful Jammu and Kashmir, festivals like these reinforce our shared heritage of brotherhood and mutual respect. I pray that these nine days bring peace, prosperity, and happiness to every household.”

Social Cohesion: Calling for a spirit of “Insaaniyat” (humanity), he urged citizens to use this festive season to strengthen communal bonds.

Empowerment: Highlighting the significance of Goddess Durga, he spoke on the importance of empowering women and ensuring their dignity in society.

Prayers for Peace: Special prayers were offered for the continued progress and stability of the Union Territory.

Celebrating the Spirit of “Shakti”The President noted that the devotion observed during these nine days reflects the resilience and strength of the people. He expressed hope that the blessings of the festival would lead to a “brighter, more inclusive future” for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
